Invincible America Assembly Creates
Dramatic Improvements in National Life

Invincible America Assembly

On July 23, 2006, Dr. John Hagelin and his Institute for Science, Technology and Public Policy launched the Invincible America Assembly — a permanent peace-creating assembly for the U.S. More than 1,200 practitioners of the TM and TM-Sidhi program gathered immediately at Maharishi International University to participate, and those numbers have now risen to nearly 2,000. As of this writing, dramatic improvements have already occurred in the fortunes of America (see www.demonstrationproject.org) — changes that were predicted publicly in advance, based on prior research.

Rising peace. Since the launch of the Assembly and the rise of coherent national consciousness, U.S. foreign policy has undergone a series of marked transformations, beginning in early August 2006 with the U.S.-forged ceasefire on the Israeli-Lebanon border—a Mideast flashpoint for decades that has now been peaceful for many months. The November 2006 elections then brought in new congressional leadership supportive of the peace process. And now, the U.S. has joined talks with Iran and Syria in Baghdad to resolve the Iraq war—and is in serious negotiations with North Korea to put an end to the volatile and longstanding nuclear crisis.

Dow
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 11.9% during the first 100 days of the Assembly.

Rising prosperity. At the same time, since the start of the Assembly, the U.S. economy has enjoyed sustained growth, with the Dow climbing more than 1500 points—while oil prices have fallen from a high of $78 a barrel in July 2006 to the under $62 a barrel. And despite the recent tumult in global market prices, U.S. consumer confidence remains high, according to a March 6 ABC News/Washington Post survey. “This confidence is yet another sign of coherent national consciousness,” Dr. Hagelin said. “We expect all these positive, life-affirming changes to continue and intensify as the size of the group increases.

Rising participation. Dr. Hagelin and his Institute staff and media team have worked tirelessly to promote the Invincible America Assembly, build its numbers, and make it permanent. Dr. Hagelin has sent email after email to all U.S. practitioners of the TM and TM-Sidhi program, urging them to join the course and describing the wonderful experiences of bliss and enlightenment rising among the course participants. The Institute media team continues to blitz the press about the Assembly and has generated excellent coverage. Institute staff have been instrumental in creating the www.InvincibleAmerica.org website and the www.IdealCommunityJobs.com website, both aimed at increasing participation in the Assembly. And Dr. Hagelin has directly inspired significant financial support for this project, including funding to provide course scholarships and stipends, to renovate campus housing, and to expand the current campus to accommodate the ever-rising numbers.

Vedic pandits

As a final boost to the size and peace-creating impact of the Assembly, 400 Vedic pandits from India have now arrived in Fairfield to contribute their powerful coherence, with another 600 expected soon to boost the group size to 2,500. Dr. Hagelin is now involved in the fundraising necessary to complete a new extension campus in Maharishi Vedic City for these very special guests.
